On 10 December 2024, a delegation of more than ten members from the CPC Yantai Municipal Committee's Publicity Department, led by Lu Bo, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yantai Municipal Committee and Director of the Publicity Department, visited the Shanghai Theatre Academy College of Film for an inspection and exchange. Both parties held discussions on multiple cooperation intentions. Hu Min, Deputy Party Secretary of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, along with the leadership team of the College of Film, the heads of the Film Production Department and the Film Music Composition Department, and teachers of relevant specialties attended the exchange meeting.
First, Han Yongsheng, Secretary of the Party Branch of the College of Film Academy, accompanied the delegation from the CPC Yantai Municipal Committee's Publicity Department to visit the College of Film's achievements exhibition. He introduced the development history of the film discipline at the Shanghai Theatre Academy since its establishment. During the visit, guests also toured the College of Film's filming studios, editing studios, screening rooms and virtual production labs.
Following a series of tours of campus and facilities, both parties engaged in friendly exchanges in Meeting Room 601 of Building 1. Lu Bo, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yantai Municipal Committee and Director of the Publicity Department, introduced the current development status of Yantai City. Han Yongsheng, Secretary of the Party Branch of the College of Film, provided an overview of the College of Film, including its faculty resources, famous alumni, situation of current faculty and students, and laboratory space construction. Both parties had in-depth discussions on topics such as targeted talent training, establishing student filming bases, summer practice projects for students, preferential policies for film and television shooting, and immersive cultural tourism projects.
At the end of the meeting, Hu Min, Deputy Party Secretary of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, and Lu Bo, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yantai Municipal Committee and Director of the Publicity Department, made the summarizing remarks, expressing the desire of both sides to further enhance in-depth cooperation.
