It is reported that the "China Fine Arts Awards" is a national-level professional award for fine arts approved by the Department of Publicity of the CPC Central Committee, aimed at guiding and encouraging fine arts workers to create more and better works of art, and promoting the prosperity and development of Chinese fine arts.
The "China Fine Arts Awards" includes three sub-categories: the Creation Award, the Theory and Criticism Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award. The winning works of the Creation Award are selected from the "National Exhibition of Fine Arts" and include Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards. The National Exhibition of Fine Arts, as the oldest national comprehensive fine arts exhibition in China, has always been imbued with a strong sense of patriotism and serves as a barometer for observing trends in Chinese fine arts creation.
