On the morning of 5 July 2024, the Third Congress of the Communist Party of China at the Shanghai Theatre Academy opened.
At the opening ceremony and the first plenary session, Xie Wei, Party Secretary of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, delivered a work report on behalf of the Eighth Committee of the Communist Party of China at the Shanghai Theatre Academy. The work report of the Fifth Discipline Inspection Committee of the Communist Party of China at the Shanghai Theatre Academy was submitted to the congress in written form.
Subsequently, all delegates were divided into seven groups to review the reports.
On the afternoon of 5 July, the second plenary session of the congress was held, chaired by Hu Min, Deputy Party Secretary of the Shanghai Theatre Academy and Secretary-General of the congress.
The agenda for this stage of the meeting was to elect members of the Ninth Committee of the Communist Party of China at the Shanghai Theatre Academy and members of the Sixth Discipline Inspection Committee of the Communist Party of China at the Shanghai Theatre Academy.
The meeting voted to approve the election methods for the members of the Ninth Committee of the Communist Party of China at the Shanghai Theatre Academy and the members of the Sixth Discipline Inspection Committee of the Communist Party of China at the Shanghai Theatre Academy, as well as the list of scrutinizers and the chief scrutinizer.
Subsequently, under the supervision of the chief scrutinizer, the election officially began. All delegates filled out their ballots anonymously and orderly proceeded to the ballot box to cast their solemn votes.
The elected members of the Ninth Committee of the Communist Party of China at the Shanghai Theatre Academy are (in the order of the number of strokes in their surnames): Wang Xuan, Wang Xiaoli, Fang Jun, Bi Tianrui, Liu Chunyou, Li Dongmei, Xiao Ying, Wu Jie, Shen Liang, Zhang Lin, Chen Jun, Zhou Yine, Hu Zuo, Hu Min, Shi Huadong, Nie Wei, Xu Yong, Xu Ying, Guo Chenyang, Guo Kai, Huang Changyong, Han Yongsheng and Xie Wei, totaling 23 members.
The elected members of the Sixth Discipline Inspection Committee of the Communist Party of China at the Shanghai Theatre Academy are (in the order of the number of strokes in their surnames): Wang Xiaoli, Wang Yefei, Zhu Feng, Lu Hailian, Zhou Yine, Xu Jing, and Cao Ying, totaling 7 members.
The third plenary session and the closing ceremony of this congress were chaired by Xie Wei, Party Secretary of the Shanghai Theatre Academy.
The meeting voted to approve the "Resolution on the Work Report of the Eighth Committee of the Communist Party of China at the Shanghai Theatre Academy" and the "Resolution on the Work Report of the Fifth Discipline Inspection Committee of the Communist Party of China at the Shanghai Theatre Academy."
