On 27 June, Yang Jian, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Wen Hui Daily, along with the heads of the newspaper's Culture Department and Special Edition Department, visited Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) for a thematic research discussion.
Currently, Shanghai Theatre Academy is actively working towards becoming a model university for the "Best Practices Site of Xi Jinping's Cultural Thoughts”. This initiative has garnered significant media attention. During the process of establishing the "Best Practice Site of Xi Jinping's Cultural Thoughts" in Shanghai, Wen Hui Daily and STA have had more opportunities for communication and collaboration.
Hu Min, Deputy Party Secretary of Shanghai Theatre Academy, presided over the thematic research meeting, and Vice President Nie Wei attended the meeting. The discussion mainly focused on topics such as recommending new culture talents of STA, co-building an art criticism platform, and contributing suggestions for the high-quality cultural development of Shanghai. Heads of various departments from STA, including the Publicity Department, Research Office, Planning Office, Academic Affairs Office, Graduate School, Human Resources Office, and the School Marxism, participated in the meeting. They provided detailed introductions on the achievements in the construction of comprehensive ideological and political education, talent cultivation, artistic creation, integration of science and art, and the establishment of future theatre studies at the academy.
Through this research discussion, both parties reached a high level of consensus. Under the guidance of Xi Jinping's cultural thoughts, Wen Hui Daily and STA have formed a closer community based on long-term close cooperation. In the future, the two organizations will continue to deepen their collaboration by way of joint planning critic columns and publicizing cultural indicators, thus contributing more practical efforts and achieving more results in building Shanghai into the "Best Practice Site of Xi Jinping's Cultural Thoughts".
