Shanghai Theatre Academy Adds Five New Demonstrative Courses for Curriculum-Based Ideological and Political Education

Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission announced the list of selected projects for the 2023 Demonstrative Projects for Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education. Building on the basis of 21 previously-obtained municipal-level demonstrative projects, the Shanghai Theatre Academy has added five new municipal-level demonstrative projects, including three municipal-level demonstrative courses and two municipal-level demonstrative course teams for curriculum-based ideological and political education.

In 2021, the "Implementation Guide of the Shanghai Theatre Academy for the Construction of Curriculum-Based Ideological and Political Education" was officially released. The Shanghai Theatre Academy took the lead in organizing the National Forum on the Teaching and Research of Curriculum-Based Ideological and Political Education in Art Schools. Each year, the Academic Affairs Office publishes the "Compilation of Cases in the Construction of Curriculum-Based Ideological and Political Education at Shanghai Theatre Academy". The academy has adopted multiple measures to encourage teachers to carry out the construction of curriculum-based ideological and political education on the basis of the "Three Natural" concepts (natural to educational, natural to art, and natural to STA), significantly advancing the vigorous development of the construction of curriculum-based ideological and political education across the academy.
