This was the first visit of the City University of Macau to our academy. Vice President Professor Ye Guiping provided a brief introduction to the City University of Macau. With a history of 43 years, the City University of Macau was formerly known as the University of East Asia which was established in 1981, and it now offers undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs and can enroll students from mainland China. The university aims to develop cooperation between the two institutions through differentiated development strategies. Specific areas of cooperation include summer programs for faculty and student exchanges, collaboration in the field of arts studies, exchanges between art troupes and joint exploration of drama talent cultivation models in the Guangdong-Macau In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.

Our academy's Party Secretary Xie Wei introduced the Shanghai Theatre Academy and its collaborations with institutions in Macau. Our academy actively supports cooperation with Macau and is willing to explore talent cultivation mechanisms and student and faculty exchanges in common academic fields with the City University of Macau. The discussions were enthusiastic and friendly. After the meeting, the delegation from the City University of Macau also visited the Changlin Road campus.
