At Macao Polytechnic University, both parties discussed establishing a strategic partnership focusing on cultivating talents in performing arts and film through cooperative education and training exchanges, and agreed to expand cooperation in fields such as artificial intelligence and film production, and to organize academic lectures, workshops, forums and events, jointly promoting higher art education exchanges and cooperation between Shanghai and Macao.

The Shanghai Theatre Academy delegation held discussions with the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, City University of Hong Kong, and Macau Performing Arts Academy on the development of art education in the context of artificial intelligence. All universities deeply recognized the new opportunities AI technology brings to the development of the arts, as well as the significant challenges it presents, understanding that only by actively recognizing, responding to and seeking change can they make a meaningful impact.

The affiliated dance school of Shanghai Theatre Academy and the dance school of Macao Performing Arts Academy have been jointly offering a "Dance Technique" course for nearly twenty years. The Shanghai Theatre Academy delegation confirmed a new round of cooperation with the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR during this visit, aiming to jointly promote the high-quality development of dance art talent training in Macao through all-round, multi-level and in-depth cooperation, helping to build a more complete and vibrant art education system in Macao.

The Shanghai Theatre Academy delegation also visited cultural institutions and arts venues including the Macao Daily News, Zuni Icosahedron Theatre Group, West Kowloon Cultural District, Chinese Opera Centre and Alegria Theatre to learn about the development status of art troupes and venues in the Hong Kong and Macao regions.
