From 24 to 27 November, the 10th Asia Micro Films Art Festival was held in Lincang City, Yunnan Province, co-organized by the China Television Artists Association, the China Central Newsreel and Documentary Film Studio (Group), the Press Office of Yunnan Provincial People's Government, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Yunnan Provincial Government, the Foreign Affairs Office of Yunnan Provincial People's Government, the Radio and Television Bureau, of Yunnan Provincial People’s Government, and the Lincang Municipal People's Government.
This year's Asia Micro Films Art Festival collected 2,874 microfilm (video) works from home and abroad, from which over 150 high-quality works were selected. The selected works possessed both a sense of the times and a sense of artistry, and fully demonstrated the diverse creative achievements in the field of microfilm.
Among the works submitted by the Shanghai Theatre Academy College of Film and recommended by the Shanghai Television Artists Association, seven microfilm works stood out and won seven awards. Under the guidance and strong support of the Shanghai Television Artists Association for many consecutive years, the STA College of Film has gone up a level in terms of the weight and number of awards, and won recognition for Shanghai Theatre Academy.
