On the afternoon of 8 October, the first session of the third general meeting of the member representatives and the first meeting of the third board of directors of the Shanghai Theatre Academy Alumni Association were held in the Foxi Building.
School leaders Xie Wei, Huang Changyong, Hu Min and Zhang Weiling, together with Lou Wei, president of the second board of directors of the alumni association, and Han Sheng, vice president of the second board of directors of the alumni association, and representatives of the board of the alumni association including Tong Ruimin, Jiang Ping, Mao Weining, Dai Yan and Zhao Bing, as well as heads of the relevant functional offices attended. The meetings were presided over by Zhang Weiling.
At the meetings, according to the election by ballot and the result of voting, Xie Wei was elected as the president of the third board of directors of the Shanghai Theatre Academy Alumni association, Zhang Weiling and Mao Weining were elected as the vice presidents, and Xu Yong was elected as the secretary-general and legal representative.
Lou Wei, president of the second board, recalled the deep bond established between him and the alumni during his term as president, thanked the members of the second board for their support and dedication to the work of the alumni association, and expected that the next board would create new glory.
The participants to the meetings listened to the work report and financial report presented by Zhang Jun, secretary-general of the second board of the Shanghai Theatre Academy Alumni Association, and listened to and considered the description of the draft amendments to the "Charter of Shanghai Theatre Academy Alumni Association".
The general meeting of member representatives agreed to add Xin Lili, Guo Ruiyue, Wang Jingchun, Luo Haiqiong, Zhu Jiejing and He Qing as members of the third board of directors of the alumni association, and agreed to add Bi Tianrui as a member of the board of supervisors of the alumni association. Bi Tianrui was elected as the chairman of the third board of supervisors of the Shanghai Theatre Academy Alumni Association.
Subsequently, the representatives of the board directors spoke one after another, expressing their deep feelings for the school and making suggestions for the further development of the alumni association.
Huang Changyong, deputy party secretary and president of the school, spoke at the meeting. Xie Wei, party secretary of the school, delivered a concluding speech.
