On 15 August 2023, the signing ceremony for the district-university cooperation between the Minhang District People's Government and the Shanghai Theatre Academy was held at the STA Changlin Campus.
The Shanghai Theatre Academy and the Minhang District People's Government have previously signed two rounds of strategic cooperation agreements and achieved fruitful results in many aspects. Based on the principles of "resource sharing, complementary advantages, and win-win development", the new round of district-university cooperation will comprehensively assist Minhang District in implementing the main line of development identified in its "14th Five Year Plan" to "enhance core advantages and deepen industry-city integration", and will continue to promote the Shanghai Theatre Academy’s efforts in building a "high-level art university that represents the national level and has global influence".
Hu Minghua, Standing Committee Member and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Minhang District Committee, and Zhang Weiling, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, respectively introduced the progress of this round of cooperation between the two sides. Subsequently, Zhao Liang, Standing Committee Member of the CPC Minhang District Committee and Deputy District Mayor, and Zhang Weiling signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties respectively. The leaders of both parties witnessed the signing of the agreement.
Chen Yujian, Secretary of the CPC Minhang District Party Committee, and Xie Wei, Party Secretary of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, delivered speeches at the signing ceremony. Huang Changyong, Deputy Party Secretary and President of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, presided over the signing ceremony, and provided the prospects particularly on the planning and construction of the STA Rim Art industry Belt as a key task in this round of cooperation during the exchange session between the two parties.
Wang Guanbao, President of the Standing Committee of the Minhang District People's Congress, Tang Jinsong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Minhang District Committee, Hu Fang, Standing Committee Member and Director of the Organization Department of the CPC Minhang District Committee, Yang Xin, Deputy District Mayor, Cai Yihui, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Minhang District Committee, Zhou Yin'e, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, Tang Litu and Liu Qing, vice presidents of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, as well as heads of relevant offices and departments from both parties, attended the signing ceremony.
