Recently, the results of the 9th China International "Internet plus" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition – Shanghai Division were announced. The project "Borderless – Accessible Audiovisual Art Services" under the direction of teacher Dong Jian and teacher Li Zepeng at the College of Film won the gold medal for the Shanghai Division at the "Youth Red Tour of Dream Building" track.
Professor Dong Jian and Professor Li Zepeng at the College of Film’s Hosting Department are the mentors of this project, while Alivia Kawulijiang and Feng Jiaqi, students from the Hosting Department’s Undergraduate Program 2020, and Zhang Tiankai, student from the Undergraduate Program 2021, are members of the project team.
The project team is a new and vigorous team dedicated to providing accessible audiovisual art services, with accessible movies, dramas and recitations as the main products. It brings together art professionals as the main team, and integrates the industry experience of accessible art services. It provides differentiated accessible audiovisual art services to various enterprises, institutions and individuals, opening up the window of audiovisual art for visually impaired and hearing-impaired individuals and providing them with audiovisual art therapy, thus contributing the strength of youth to building the accessible art service pattern.
On 26 July, the 9th China International "Internet plus" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition - Shanghai Division Finals & Champion Competition was held in Shanghai Jiaotong University. 226 projects qualified for the finals conducted the roadshow defense focusing on team situation, market positioning, business model, financial analysis, competitive advantages etc.
In 2023, there were over 5,000 projects and over 21,000 students participating in the “Red Tourism Track” competition of the Shanghai Division. In the intense competition, the teachers and students of the STA College of Film Academy made unremitting efforts and successfully won the Shanghai Division gold medal for Shanghai Theatre Academy. Congratulations!
In this summer, the teachers and students of the STA College of Film harvested precious achievements with sweat and hard work.
