On 18 June 2023, the launch ceremony for the publication of “Photocopy Collection of Manuscripts of Zhao Ming's Film Creation (Part 1 and Part 2)” cum Family’s Donation Ceremony, which was sponsored by the Shanghai Theatre Academy College of Film and co-organized by the Shanghai Film Museum, the Shanghai Film Criticism Society and the Shanghai Film and Television Theatre Theory Research Association, was successfully held at the Shanghai Film Museum.
Through an online and offline combined method, the event conducted an extensive and enthusiastic discussion on Director Zhao Ming's artistic achievements and the family’s donation of the manuscripts of his creative works, and was successfully concluded after completing the proceedings of speeches by hosts, speeches by family members, speeches by experts, and donation and acceptance ceremony.
“Photocopy Collection of Manuscripts of Zhao Ming's Film Creation (Part 1 and Part 2)” highlights Zhao Ming's prominent influence in the history of education of Chinese film, which is reflected especially by the group of outstanding talents trained after the establishment of the Shanghai Film Academy, which has contributed the endless power to the Shanghai film industry and even the Chinese film industry.
Han Yongsheng, secretary of the General Party Branch of the Shanghai Theatre Academy College of Film, Wang Pengfei, assistant curator of the Shanghai Film Museum, and Zhao Suhong, daughter of Zhao Ming, undertook the donation and acceptance ceremony. Han Yongsheng, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mr Zhao Ming's family and children.
