Shanghai Ranking, the higher education professional evaluation agency, recently released the 2023 Best Chinese Majors Ranking. Shanghai Ranking’s Best Chinese Majors Ranking is so far the largest undergraduate majors ranking for Chinese universities, in terms of the number of majors covered and the scale of majors taking part in the evaluation.
Shanghai Ranking’s Best Chinese Majors Ranking is a comprehensive evaluation of a specific major based on the aggregated evaluation of the three dimensions of university-subject-major. The indicator system of the ranking consists of five categories of indicators, i.e. conditions of university, support from subject, student sources of major, employment of major, and conditions of major, with a total of 25 measuring indicators.
In Shanghai Ranking’s 2023 Best Chinese Majors Ranking, the Shanghai Theatre Academy has seven majors rated at A+ and four at A.
