The Party General Branch of Retired Personnel recently organized for retired party members to the Shanghai Library East for a Themed Party Day activity, with the participation of nearly 50 retired party members. Led by staff of the Shanghai Library, retired party members visited the atrium, the reading square on the third floor and the gallery of classic collections on the seventh floor of the Shanghai Library East.
Mr Lou Wei, former Party Secretary of our university and current Party Secretary of the Shanghai Library, came back from a meeting especially to join the group. He accompanied the retired party members on the tour of the audio-visual space of the Shanghai Library East, watched the short documentary about the Shanghai Library East together with them, and had a cordial exchange with everyone. This marked a successful conclusion to this Themed Party Day activity.
