Recently, the Exhibition of Works from Shanghai University Student Red Culture Creative Competition opened at the Changlin Road Campus of Shanghai Theatre Academy. Leaders of Shanghai Theatre Academy, namely, Xie Wei, Party Secretary , Zhang Weiling, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President, Tang Litu, Vice President, and Zhang Jiachun, Chief Accountant, as well as relevant persons in charge from Shanghai Student Affairs Centre, Student Work Office of East China University of Science and Technology, Publicity Department and Organization Department of Party Committee at Shanghai Theatre Academy, and Publicity and Education Department at Soong Qingling Memorial Residence in Shanghai, jointly launched the exhibition.
Zhang Weiling, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. Cui Shanshan, Director of the Student Work Office at East China University of Science and Technology, on behalf of all other participating universities, expressed sincere congratulations on the successful holding of the event. Zhou Hongxing, Deputy Director of Shanghai Student Affairs Center, also delivered a speech.
The organizing committee of the competition also prepared an artistic and practical gift for the guests present – a set of mobile phone holders featuring the theme of the competition and the "Shanghai Youth" design.
This competition has been carried out on the basis of two main lines, i.e. "promoting the great spirit of party building" and "showcasing brilliant development achievements", and in three tracks, i.e. "cultural and creative product design", "digital cultural and creative product design" and "cultural tourism route design". Over the course of several months, a total of 162 groups of submissions from nearly 400 students from 21 universities in Shanghai were collected. After two rounds of defense and careful screening by the organizing committee, a total of 80 excellent cultural and creative works were selected for the exhibition.
