The annual voluntary blood donation activity for 2023 was held on 28 and 29 March. At the blood donation site, teachers and students participating in blood donation completed the various steps of the process in an orderly manner through information registration, physical examination, blood screening, blood collection, rest for observation, and certificate collection.
Teachers and students of STA enthusiastically responded to the annual voluntary blood donation activity for 2023, and a total of 374 people completed the voluntary blood donation within the two days. Most of the students who participated in this blood donation were from the post-00s generation. Many students donated blood for the first time, but there were also some students who had participated in blood donation many times. Such an experience has filled them with pride.
A group of faculty members from different colleges and departments of the University also participated in blood donation. They have not only worked dedicatedly at daily education and teaching posts, but also demonstrated great love through their practical actions, setting a good example for students.
In this blood donation activity, there were also 30 volunteers from various colleges and departments who actively participated in voluntary services and dedicated their loving care in another way at various work sites.
The University prepared steamed stuffed buns, eggs, hot soybean milk, red date and red bean soup for the teachers and students who participated in blood donation, expressing the warm solicitude for them. Leaders of the University also went on-site to see the teachers and students who participated in blood donation.
This free blood donation activity not only embodied the spiritual outlook of the teachers and students at STA, but also represented a distinct practice of the core values of socialism. Teachers and students at STA conveyed loving care and supported undertakings of public interest with their practical actions, and became the brightest scenery on the campus.
