In order to deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Committee of Shanghai Theatre Academy has launched the university-wide "Secondary Unit Achievements Exhibition” program since March this year.
The first exhibition was the one from the general party branch of the Department of Dramatic Literature, which is participating in the cultivation and establishment of “Shanghai Party Building Work Benchmark College/Department” as part of the second round of the "Climbing" program for party organizations in Shanghai-based higher education institutions within the system of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee for Education and Health.
On 20 March, the "Department of Dramatic Literature Achievement Exhibition" hosted by the general party branch of the Department of Dramatic Literature opened in the front hall of the Duanjun Theater. STA leaders, heads of relevant functional offices, head of secondary colleges and departments, and representatives of teachers and students attended the opening ceremony and toured the exhibition.
Focusing on the theme of "first-class party building leading first-class development", the exhibition of the Department of Dramatic Literature comprehensively presents the achievements of the department in such aspects as party building, teaching, creation, scientific research and talent cultivation in recent years. The opening ceremony was presided over by Chen Jun, dean of the department. Zhang Jing, secretary of the general party branch of the Department of Dramatic Literature, spoke and provided an overview of the achievement exhibition. Xie Wei, party secretary of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.
This achievement exhibition is a kind of sorting and summary for the Department of Dramatic Literature, and it is also an opportunity and motivation for teachers and students of the entire department to concentrate all attention and all efforts on doing the work, which will undoubtedly actively promote the deep integration of party building work with teaching, scientific research, creation and talent cultivation throughout the department.
