On 16 March 2023, Ms He Jie, chief host and resident artist of the Media Centre of the Shanghai Radio and Television Station, conducted an expert workshop at the Foxi Library on the Changlin Road campus of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA). The teacher and students shared, analyzed, and discussed topics such as "webcast anchors" and "webcasting". Li Zepeng, a teacher at the College of Film of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, took notes at the workshop.
Before the workshop, Ms He Jie assigned the students an assignment on "observing webcast anchors" and raised two requirements: firstly, select a webcast anchor and summarize the characteristics and internet communication effects of the anchor; secondly, summarize and analyze how to do an excellent webcast and what capabilities a webcast anchor should have.
After a simple warm-up, the students became engaged very quickly and started sharing. Ms He Jie commended the students for their analysis of network anchors and their classroom performance. At the end of the workshop, Ailifeiya, a student of the Class of 2020 level of the professional hosting major, shared her course experiences with everyone. In response, Ms He Jie shared that a person's whole life is actually about telling stories to themselves, and the harvest lies in their hearts, and that it is worth your hard work for you own sake if you are making progress today than yesterday, and you should never envy the others, but keep walking on your own road, and maintain the inner peace of your own heart.
