In the recently released selection results of the “Shanghai Higher Education Quality Improvement Action for Ideological and Political Theory Courses 2022", the "Ideological and Political Code Behind Drama – Exploration of Short Video Teaching Project" submitted by the Shanghai Theatre Academy was successfully selected as one of the 2022 Shanghai Higher Education "Greater Ideological and Political Course" Construction Teaching Reform Pilot Projects.
This project will fully integrate the art resources of STA and deeply explore the red classic film and television works involving STA alumni and the red classic plays produced by STA. Through interviews and short video production, it will reflect the growth stories of outstanding alumni, their understanding of art, especially the red classic works, and their analysis of the personalities and spiritual beliefs of the characters. At the same time, the project will also organize the participation of current students of STA to talk freely about their understanding from the perspective of audiences with professional knowledge, so as to achieve the effect of combining the classroom knowledge of ideological and political courses with after-school artistic practice.
The short videos, after being produced, will not only be used for teaching, but also be released on major online platforms to attract the attention of young people to the red classics and guide the people to explore the historical knowledge and ideological and political elements behind the red classics.
