On 23 February, the 8th (Expanded) Plenary Meeting of the 8th CPC Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee & the Middle Management Meeting of the New Semester was held at the Changlin Road Campus. All members of the university leadership, party committee and middle management team attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Hu Min, Deputy Party Secretary of STA.
At the meeting, Huang Changyong, Deputy Party Secretary and President of STA, interpreted the “Key Points of Work of Shanghai Theatre Academy in 2023 (Deliberation Draft)” in combination with the key points, difficulties and breakthroughs of this year's work. All members of the Party Committee voted unanimously by a show of hands, and adopted the "Key Points of Work of Shanghai Theatre Academy in 2023". At this meeting, Xie Wei, Party Secretary of STA, put forward requirements for STA’s work in 2023.
The meeting also conveyed the spirit of the 2023 Spring Meeting of Party and Administrative Leaders of Colleges and Universities in Shanghai, and commended 12 advanced groups which had made outstanding contributions and had a positive impact on the key work of STA in 2022, and made arrangements for the opening of the new semester.
