On 13 January, the Personnel Office, the Trade Union and the Retired Personnel Affairs Office jointly held the "Shanghai Theatre Academy Spring Festival Tea Party for Retired Teachers and Staff Members 2021-2022" was held in the Retired Veterans’ Activities Room of the Foxi Building, cordially bidding farewell to fifteen teachers and staff members who retired over the past two years.
Zhang Weiling, deputy party secretary and vice president of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) and chairman of the STA Trade Union, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Zhang Yunlei, executive vice chairwoman of the Trade Union, presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, some of the retired teachers and staff members shared their feelings and thoughts about retirement, saying that they would continue to care about and support the development of STA and continue to make contributions to STA. On behalf of the Party Committee of STA, Zhang Weiling expressed heartfelt thanks and high respect to the 15 retired teachers and staff members for their long-term contributions to the development of STA. The relevant persons in charge of the Organization Department of the Party Committee, the Personnel Office and the Retired Personnel Affairs Office also spoke at the meeting. Zhang Yunlei and Lu Ang, part-time vice president of the STA Trade Union, said that the trade union remains the home of teachers and staff members forever, and its doors are always open to teachers and staff members who are welcome to “come home” at any time, whether they are retired or not.
Finally, the trade union presented a bunch of flowers and a thermal cup of exclusive STA design to every retired teacher/staff member, thanking the teachers and staff members for dedicating their entire career life to STA.
