On 1 December 2022, the College of Film of Shanghai Theatre Academy held the donation ceremony for professors' working rooms, and the launch ceremony for “three film centers” and “two experimental centers" on the occasion of the 77th anniversary celebration of the Shanghai Theatre Academy.
Participants in the ceremonies included: Huang Changyong, Deputy Party Secretary and President of the Shanghai Theatre Academy; Ren Zhonglun, Vice Chairman of the China Film Association, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Chairman of the Shanghai Film Association; Xu Pengle, Former Vice President of the Shanghai Film Group and Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Film Association; Zhao Yun, Resident Vice President and Secretary-General of the Shanghai Film Association; Wu Aili, Director of the Planning Office cum Director of the Discipline Development Office, Shanghai Theatre Academy; Jan Schutte, Professor at the Shanghai Theatre Academy; Kees Van Oostrum, Professor at the Shanghai Theatre Academy; Liu Tianhong, Chief Financial Officer of the Jiangsu Changjiang Civilian Education Foundation; Zhuang Yichen, Manager, Marketing Headquarters, Sony Consumer Electronics and Professional Solutions Group; Han Yongsheng, Secretary of the General Party Branch, College of Film, Shanghai Theatre Academy Film Academy; Li Zhenlin, Dean of the College of Film, Shanghai Theatre Academy; Wang Chunyun, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch, College of Film, Shanghai Theatre Academy.
The Jiangsu Changjiang Civilian Education Foundation donated 13 professors’ working rooms to the STA College of Film, which were named the Hundred Flowers Villa, the Golden Rooster Study and Huabiao Scholar Cottage by the College of Film. Naming these professors’ working rooms after the three major national film awards of Chinese film is symbolic of a spiritual pursuit. The video speech of Mr Nie Shengzhe, Chairman of Jiangsu Changjiang Civilian Education Foundation, was shown at the site of the ceremonies. President Huang Changyong also delivered a warm speech, and presented the donation certificate to Liu Tianhong, Chief Financial Officer of the Jiangsu Changjiang Civilian Education Foundation.
The "three film centers" are the Hou Yong Cinematography Center, the Jan Schutte Film Directing Center and the Kees Van Oostrum Cinematography Center.

As an internationally renowned cinematographer and film educator, Professor Kees Van Oostrum has successively participated in the shooting of more than 80 film and television works in the world, including TV series, films and documentaries that have won the Emmy Award. President Huang Changyong and Professor Kees Van Oostrum took a photo together on the stage to mark the launch of the Kees Van Oostrum Cinematography Center. Professor Kees Van Oostrum also made a speech.
Internationally famous brands Sony and ARRI have maintained a long-standing relationship of friendly exchange with the College of Film of Shanghai Theatre Academy, and have provided, on an ongoing basis, professional recording and production devices and equipment for Shanghai Theatre Academy, which have greatly supported the creation of high-quality film and television works by the students of Shanghai Theatre Academy. On the same day, the Shanghai Theatre Academy-Sony Imaging Technology Academy Cooperative Technology Demonstration Base and the ARRI Center of Shanghai Theatre Academy ARRI were established. Han Yongsheng, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the College of Film, Shanghai Theatre Academy, delivered a speech.
