On 30 November 2022, the directing workshop organized and presided over by Professor Wan Chuanfa of the College of Film, Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) and conducted by Mr Zheng Dasheng, a famous director, was successfully held. The theme of this workshop was "Yes/No - Onsite Practice and Academic Discussion of Scene Dispatching". The workshop was mainly for the students of the "Analysis of Films and Television Plays" course at the Shanghai Theatre Academy, but also attracted many students from other majors to attend, and it was very warmly received.
In just three hours, Director Zheng Dasheng brought rich and valuable experience on "scene dispatching" to the students of the College of Film, and provided many inspirations for their future creation through vivid and specific on-site guidance. At the end of the practical session of the workshop, Director Zheng Dasheng encouraged the students to practice more and experience the three-layer relationship of "scene dispatching", and return to the most fundamental and the simplest practical training of film elements, because only by innovating at the most basic level can our films reach a new height.
