On the evening of 19 November 2022, the 2021-2022 Excellent Academic Results and Film and Television Works Promotion Event of Chinese Collegial Association for Visual Art cum Awards Ceremony of the 15th ”Association Award” and the 12th “Academy Award” was held in an online and offline combined mode. Teachers and students of our university achieved great results in both academic and creative areas.
The Chinese Collegial Association for Visual Art is the only national-level society in the field of film and television art approved by the state. The "Association Award" of Chinese Collegial Association for Visual Art was founded in 1993 to commend the outstanding research achievements of its members in the field of film and television education in colleges and universities. The "Academy Award" of Chinese Association for Visual Art aims to encourage the creation of film and television works by teachers and students of colleges and universities and professionals in the society, and is a national platform for ideological, academic and professional evaluation.
Among the winners of the 15th "Association Award", Professor Li Zhenlin, Dean of the College of Film, won the first prize of the works unit (ranking the first) for his work “History of Aesthetic Streams of Thought in Chinese Film Performance (1949-1978)”. The thesis of Professor Huang Wangli et al won the first prize of the thesis unit (ranking the sixth). The thesis of Associate professor Sha Yang won the third prize of the thesis unit (ranking the fifth). The academic achievements of the teachers of the College of Film of Shanghai Theatre Academy have received extensive attention and praise from experts in the relevant professional fields and teachers and students of colleges and universities, and the College of Film has formed a more prominent disciplinary advantage and overall advantage in academic research.
In addition, the teachers and students of the College of Film also achieved great results in the creation of film and television works. In the 12th "Academy Award", our teachers and students won four prizes, including two first prizes, one second prize and one third prize.
