On November 4, the (enlarged) study meeting of the CPC Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee’s Central Group for Theoretical Study & exclusive presentation on studying the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress were held at the Huashan Road Campus.

Professor Zhao Gangyin, Director of the Party Construction Teaching and Research Department of the Party School of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the CPC, was invited to give a tutorial report entitled "Political Declaration and Action Program for Winning the New Victory of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics - Experience of Studying the Spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress".

Professor Zhao Gangyin's tutorial report, starting from the six key words of "new orientation, new theme, new achievements, new ideas, new missions and new strategies", gave a concise explanation of the historical background, great significance, distinctive theme and logical framework of the 20th CPC National Congress; It focused on such key aspects of opening up a new realm of Chinese localization and modernization of Marxism, outlining the road map of Chinese-style modernization, and formulating strategic measures for building a socialist modernized country in an all-round way.

After the tutorial report was over, Xie Wei, Party Secretary of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, made a speech to, once again, mobilize and deploy the all-round study, publicity and implementation of the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress. At the 8th Teachers' Congress & the 5th Session of the 12th Trade Union Congress of the Shanghai Theatre Academy held on 27 October, Xie Wei, on behalf of the CPC Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee, had already announced the full launch of the arrangements for studying, publicizing and implementing the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress.
