On 16 October 2022 at 10 am, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) opened in the Great Hall of the People, attracting worldwide attention. The Creative Studies College of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), located on the Changlin Road Campus, was permeated with a festive atmosphere. Teachers and students were eagerly looking forward to the successful opening of the 20th CPC National Congress.
With the organization of the General Party Branch of the Creative Studies College, Tang Fang, deputy secretary of the General Party Branch of the Creative Studies College, and other teaching and administrative staff with CPC membership, together with some of the students with CPC membership and students actively applying for CPC membership as well as representatives of youth league members, watched the opening session in the Circular Conference Room and the Foxi Academy respectively, and listened attentively to the report made by General Secretary Xi Jinping. Holding up the bright party flags, the teachers and students with CPC membership gave their cordial wishes for the successful opening of the 20th CPC National Congress, and took great pride in the historic achievements and historic transformations realized by the party and the country in the new era.
At soon as the opening session was over, Fang Jun, secretary of the General Party Branch of the Creative College, who was on duty at the Huashan Road Campus that day, immediately shared her thoughts and feelings from learning the report.
After the opening session was over, Tang Fang led the party members who watched it at the Changlin Road Campus to go to the Cultural and Creative Corner for Party Building and Ideological and Political Education created by the General Party Branch of the Creative College where they reviewed the important contents of the report made to the 20th CPC National Congress. We would never forget that on 1 July 2021, it was also at this Cultural and Creative Corner for Party Building and Political and Ideological Education, the teachers and students of the Creative College got together to review the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the conference in celebration of the centennial of the founding of the CPC.
Teachers and students of the Creative College will surely implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress in a more vigorous and impactful manner, thus demonstrating the sense of mission and responsibility possessed by a model party branch.
