On 16 October 2022, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) opened in the Great Hall of the People. It was a solemn day, and was a sacred moment.
The 20th CPC National Congress has attracted worldwide attention. In order to enable teachers and students to better watch the grand opening ceremony of the conference, Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) has set up several live broadcast watching points in the four campuses at Huashan Road, Changlin Road, Lianhua Road and Hongqiao Road.
In the morning, with joy and excitement, STA leaders and representatives of teachers and students came to the observation points set up in such places as the Party Building Service Center, smart classrooms, conference rooms and Foxi Academy, eagerly looking forward to the opening of the conference. At 10 am, the conference was officially opened. The teachers and students listened attentively to the report made by General-General Xi Jinping to the 20th CPC National Congress. Many teachers and students also take notes from time to time, and kept writing down the hightlights of the report.
After the conclusion of the nearly two-hour opening ceremony of the conference, the teachers and students talked freely about their thoughts and feelings. Some teachers and students also "stroke the iron when it was hot" and reviewed the main contents of the report to the 20th CPC National Congress right away.
