On 9 October, the special research meeting of the Journals Center of Shanghai Theatre Academy was successfully held in the conference room on the first floor of the Foxi Building. Xie Wei, party secretary of Shanghai Theatre Academy, Yang Yang, vice president of Shanghai Theatre Academy, Professor Li Wei, director of the Journals Centre and deputy editor-in-chief of “Dramatic Arts”, as well as the editors-in-chief of “Dramatic Arts”, “Research on Contemporary Dance Arts”, “Art Management”, “Convection” and “Chinese Performance Arts”, and members of the editorial offices of these journals attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Yang Yang.
Director Li Wei and the editor-in-chief of each journal respectively introduced the status quo and achievements of each journal and the comparison with similar journals, and also elaborated the problems and difficulties faced by each journal on the basis of the status quo.
Party Secretary Xie Wei and Vice President Yang Yang addressed the meeting. They gave full recognition to the work of the Journals Centre on the development of these journals, and provided guiding opinions on the relevant issues according to the report given by the editorial office of each journal,.
