On 9 September 2022, in order to stimulate Party members to work hard in their own posts, play a vanguard and exemplary role and strive to become qualified Party members on the occasion of the forthcoming 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the General Party Branch of the College of Film of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) organized all Party members to attend a special heroes and role models' talk, which was held online and entitled "Let Party Spirit Shine in Our Own Work". The keynote speaker was Xia Xinping, Deputy Leader of the Mobile Brigade of the Traffic Police Detachment of the Shanghai Minhang District Public Security Bureau, who was awarded the title of "National Outstanding People's Police" in 2022.
Han Yongsheng, secretary of the General Party Branch of the STA College of Film Academy, made a concluding speech. He praised Xia Xinping's selfless dedication to the Party and the people, and pointed out that Xia Xinping's deeds had great inspiration for all members of the General Party Branch of the College of Film. He called on all members of the General Party Branch to learn from Xia Xinping and pay tribute to the "ordinary heroes" who serve the people wholeheartedly in the course of performing their own work.
