7th (Expanded) Plenary Session of STA’s 8th CPC Committee is held, focusing on construction of young talents team

On 16 September 2022, the 7th (Expanded) Plenary Session of the 8th Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee of the Communist Party of China was held at the Changlin Road Campus.

The main topic on the agenda of this meeting was to review and vote on the “Implementation Opinions of the Shanghai Theatre Academy on Further Strengthening the Construction of Young Talents Team”. Hu Min, deputy party secretary of STA, explained the background of the introduction of the “Opinions of the Shanghai Theatre Academy on Further Strengthening the Construction of the Young Talents Team”.

Chen Yun, director of the Organization Department cum director of the Personnel Office and director of the Teachers Work Department, Lu Jun, chairman of the Academic Committee, Li Zhenlin, dean of the Film College, and Wu Yang, representative of young teachers, respectively exchanged the university’s ideas and measures of work in support of the growth of young talents from different perspectives, as well as ways and experiences of the growth of young talents in higher learning institutions.

At the meeting, all members of the party committee unanimously voted for the adoption of the “Implementation Opinions of the Shanghai Theatre Academy on Further Strengthening the Construction of Young Talents Team”.

At the meeting, Huang Changyong, deputy party secretary and president of STA, conveyed the spirit of the Autumn Meeting of Party and Administrative Leaders of Higher Learning Institutions in Shanghai, and put forward requirements for the work in the new semester. Xie Wei, party secretary of STA, made a concluding speech.
