In order to inherit the Chinese classics and carry forward the Chinese spirit, the Shanghai Division Final of the Classics Recitation Competition of the 4th Chinese Classics Recitation, Writing and Speaking Competition, a high-level spoken and written language competition jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the National Spoken and Written Language Work Committee, was recently concluded. In this competition, the students of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) achieved great results once again.
The entries submitted by the STA College of Film won five prizes in the Shanghai Division, including three first prizes and two second prizes. “The Most Beautiful Look of Youth”, the recitation work of Lin Haisheng (student of BA Hosting 2018), Liu Yinting, Wang Zijian, Ren Jiachen and Zhu Jixian (students of BA Hosting 2021) under the instruction of teacher Wang Qi and teacher Zuo Yu), “Outpost”, the recitation work of Shan Lingyu (student of BA Hosting 2018), Yang Jingyi, Jia Qingbiao and Tai Jiahua (students of BA Hosting 2019) under the instruction of teacher Bao Lei and teacher Li Zepeng), and “Huang Yanpei”, the recitation work of Du Mengying (student of MA Hosting 2020), Zhou Yuhan, Jia Qingbiao, Li Yanda and Shen Yang (students of BA Hosting 2019) under the instruction of teacher Dong Jian and teacher Meng Cong) won the first prizes. “Funeral Oration for the Martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers”, the recitation work of Zheng Dongming (student of BA Hosting 2019) under the instruction of teacher Wang Qi and teacher Li Zepeng), and “Outpost (Excerpt)”, the recitation work of Li Ruonan, Li Jiacheng, Wang Zijian, Zhu Tonglin, Liu Yinting and Ren Jiachen (students of BA Hosting 2021) under the instruction of teacher, won the second prizes.
Praising the flourishing age in China and building a dream for the future, the creation of the classic work series has followed the educational and teaching philosophy of establishing the values and enlightening the mind, and has accumulated experience and achievements in actual practice. In the 2nd Chinese Classics Recitation, Writing and Speaking Competition, the recitation work "Salute the Anti-COVID Pioneers" by teachers Dong Jian, Zhang Dapeng and Wang Qi of the STA College of Film won the first prize of the national teacher group; In the Classics Recitation Competition of the 3rd Chinese Classics Recitation, Writing and Speaking Competition, the recitation work "Who is the Most Lovable Person" of Lin Jiasheng (student of BA Hosting 2018) and Zheng Dongming (student of BA Hosting 2019) under the instruction of teacher Wang Qi and teacher Bao Lei won the first prize of the national college students group. In the future, the students of STA will continue to carry forward the excellent Chinese traditional culture as their own responsibility, tell Chinese stories well, and create even better results!
