Recently, the “Decision on Commending the 15th Shanghai Municipal Outstanding Achievement Award for Philosophy and Social Sciences” was released. After consideration and approval by the Award Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Outstanding Achievement Award for Philosophy and Social Sciences, the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau decided to commend 150 award-winning achievements, including 4 academic contribution awards, 39 first prizes and 107 second prizes. The Shanghai Municipal Outstanding Achievement Award for Philosophy and Social sciences is the highest award for philosophy and social sciences in Shanghai, which is selected once every two years.
Two theses from the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) are on the list of commendation, namely, “The Justice of Art – Its Types and Subtypes” (winning the First Prize (Thesis) of the Outstanding Subject and Academic Achievement Award) by Professor Wang Yun and “The 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up: The China School of Film Performance Is Coming Near and Near” (winning the Second Prize (Thesis) of the Outstanding Subject and Academic Achievement Award) by Professor Li Zhenlin.
