In the afternoon, the 2018 annual democratic appraisal meeting of the leadership and members of the leadership of the Shanghai Theatre Academy as well as the teacher and staff representatives’ democratic appraisal meeting for the school leadership was held at the Duanjun Theater. The meeting was presided over by Party Secretary Lou Wei and attended by members of the party and administrative leadership teams. Members of the middle management, delegates to the party congresses, delegates to the teachers' congress, representatives of professors and staff members, representatives of the democratic parties and representatives of the retired personnel attended the appraisal meeting.
At the meeting, Party Secretary Lou Wei first made a report summarizing the work of the party and administrative leadership teams in 2018. Subsequently, the members of the school leadership made the individual work reports and discussed the practices, shortcomings and plans in the light of their respective responsibilities. After the reports, the participants to the meeting filled in a democratic evaluation form to conduct the democratic appraisal of the school leadership as a whole and the members of the leadership individually.
Wang Yahong of the Publicity and Education Division of the Organization Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee sat through the whole process of the appraisal meeting as the representative of the superior authorities.
