On 18 December at 10 a.m., the General Assembly Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. As arranged in advance, all teachers, party members, officials, students and retired veteran comrades of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) were organized to watch the live broadcast of the General Assembly Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening up in various forms, locations and channels, and to carefully study General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the general assembly.
The leadership team and all the teachers and students of STA agreed unanimously that the general assembly celebrating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up held by the CPC Central Committee and the important speech given by General Secretary Xi Jinping comprehensively summarized, from a historical, overall and strategic height, the achievements of the reform and opening up in the past 40 years, nine basic experiences that “must be adhere to” and nine important inspirations from practice, which not only summarized the past, but also looked forward to the future, and put forward the great call of "carrying out reform and opening up to the very end", and pledged the great determination and courage of starting reform and opening up again in the new era.
All teachers and students felt greatly excited and greatly encouraged and expressed that they will take the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech as the guide, and will continue to carry forward the great spirit of reform and opening up and strive to promote all undertakings of starting the reform and opening up again in the new era, and will make new and greater contributions to the new round of reform and development of STA.
