On 18 November, guided by the Bureau of Literature and Art of the Department of Publicity of CPC Central Committee and the Department of Ideological and Political Affairs of the Ministry of Education, sponsored by the Department of Publicity of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the CPC Shanghai Municipal Education and Health Working Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and organized by the Fudan University and the Shanghai Radio and Television Station, "The Youth Carols” Shanghai University Student Campus Song Festival was held at the Fudan University, including the launch of the excellent original songs coming out of the festival’s campus song creation program under the theme of “remembering the mission of the times and singing out the melody of youth". The purpose of the program was to educate and nurture people with culture and aesthetics and constantly enrich campus cultural life and strengthen ideological and political work in higher education institutions. Relevant people in charge from the Department of Publicity of the CPC Central Committee, Ministry of Education, Shanghai municipal authorities it and Shanghai Theatre Academy attended and watched the concert of the campus song festival.
The concert of the campus song festival showcased eight excellent original campus songs were selected from the campus song creation program under the theme of “remembering the mission of the times and singing out the melody of youth”. The Shanghai Theatre Academy sent 34 students and 2 alumni, who sang the original campus song "Fearless" at the concert. They were full of youth and vigor, and attracted rounds of cheers from the audience on the spot. They eulogized the new era with dynamic melody, conveying the positive energy of youth of the students of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, and pushing the on-site atmosphere to a climax.
It is learnt that the concert of the campus song festival will be broadcast on CCTV and Shanghai Radio and Television Station.
