On 21 September 2018, the trade union of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) held the theme event in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival in the cafeteria of the STA Lianhua Road Campus. The event was attended by the families of teachers and staff of the various departmental trade unions which were grouped up by department to make pizza, moon cakes and cakes in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival in advance in the joyous atmosphere of the family celebration. The music teachers from primary and secondary schools in Xinjiang who were participants of the “Training Program for 100 Chinese Traditional Opera Teachers from Urumqi” were also invited to participate in this event. This event of STA filled the hearts of these teachers with joy, although they were far away from home. It better fostered the initiative to nurture Xinjiang with excellent Chinese traditional culture and let the national culture take root in the hearts of the primary and secondary school children in Xinjiang through their teachers. During the event, parents and children completed the making of pizza and moon cakes under the guidance of the chefs of the cafeteria. A small pizza, like a full moon, brought happiness to the hearts of the parents and children. The Mid-Autumn Festival event of the STA trade union was a great success.
