On the afternoon of 20 June, the China Democratic League Shanghai Municipal Committee held its 2018 Working Meeting on the Participation in the Administration and Discussion of State Affairs at the Shanghai Democratic Party Building. Mr Chen Qun, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, Vice Chairman of the China Democratic League Central Committee and Chairman of the China Democratic League Shanghai Municipal Committee, attended the meeting and delivered an important speech.
At the meeting, the China Democratic League Shanghai Theater Academy Committee was awarded the third prize of the China Democratic League Shanghai Municipal Committee’s 2017 Advance Collectives Award for Information Work on Social Conditions and Public Opinions, Professor Li Zhenlin, Deputy Director of the Publicity Committee of the China Democratic League Central Committee, Standing Committee Member of the China Democratic League Shanghai Municipal Committee and Chairman of the China Democratic League Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee, won the China Democratic League Shanghai Municipal Committee’s 2017 Advanced Individuals Award for Information Work on Social Conditions and Public Opinions, and the research project "Suggestions on the Integration of the Film and Television industries in the Yangtze River Delta Region" headed by Professor Li was listed as a key project of the China Democratic League Shanghai Municipal Committee’s participation in the administration and discussion of state affairs in the 2018 calendar year.
