On the afternoon of 12 May, the last lecture of the lecture series on spoke language communication for the hosting major in this semester hosted by the College of Film of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) was successfully conducted online, which was also the 36th lecture of the “Pujiang Lecture Hall” program. The lecture was entitled "What Does AI Change: Program Hosts Communication from the Perspective of New Technology Development". The keynote speaker was Gao Guiwu, dean, professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Audio-Visual Communication, School of Journalism, Renmin University of China. Dong Jian, vice dean of the STA College of Film, attended the lecture and delivered a welcome speech. Fei Yong, head of broadcasting and hosting major, chaired the lecture. In addition to the students of the STA College of Film, the lecture also attracted teachers and students of other different majors to participate. The participants listened attentively to Professor Gao Guiwu’s talk and actively participated in the discussion in a warm atmosphere.
The lecture was divided into five parts. Professor Gao Guiwu elaborated on "the impact of new technology development on communication, the impact of new technology development on program hosts communication, the essence and path of new technology development, the essence and advantages of communication of program hosts, and the challenges and opportunities of new technology development on program hosts communication".
