On the afternoon of 7 May, the temporary party branch of teachers and administrative staff at the Changlin Road campus of the Shanghai Theater Academy (STA) held a special activity to learn and discuss the important spirit of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee on the current prevention and control of COVID-19.
On 5 May, the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee held a meeting to analyze the current situation of the prevention and control of COVID-19, and to study and deploy the key work of COVID-19 prevention and control. General Secretary Xi Jinping chaired the meeting and made an important speech.
The temporary party branch of teachers and administrative staff earnestly learnt the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech. Hu Min, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of STA, Fang Jun, deputy director of the Publicity Department of the Party Committee of STA and secretary of the general party branch of the College of Creative Studies, Han Yongsheng, deputy director of the Party Committee’s Office and the President’s Office of STA and secretary of the general party branch of the College of Film, and other members of the temporary party branch at the Changlin Road campus talked freely to share their learning experience.
Since the quasi-closed management was implemented on the Changlin Road campus on 14 March, many teachers and administrative staff who are CPC members have been persistently on the campus and made exceptional contributions to the smooth operation of the campus. The establishment of the temporary party branch of teachers and administrative staff at the Changlin Road campus has brought together teachers and administrative staff who are CPC members attached separately to the differently general party branches and directly-subordinate party branches, and has played a positive role in the learning of the spirit of COVID prevention spirit and the organization of voluntary services on the campus.
