In the face of the pandemic situation at present, in order to ensure the normal study and life of students during the closed-loop management on campus and ensure the safe, stable and orderly progress of pandemic prevention and control on campus, the Department of Directing held a meeting on pandemic prevention and control which was attended by all teachers and students of the whole department on April 26 at 7 pm. The leading group and over 100 teachers and students of the department got together on cloud for communication and exchange. The meeting was presided over by Xia Shuai, secretary of the student party branch and student counselor of the Department of Directing. Li Dongmei, director of the Student Affairs Office, was also invited to join the meeting to answer some of the questions that were of the greatest concern to the students.
Lu Ang, head of the Department of Directing, and Yin Yuerong, secretary of the general party branch of the Department of Directing, spoke at the meeting. Prior to the meeting, the head teachers and postgraduate supervisors had collected the current questions of concern to the students in advance, which mainly focused on three categories, i.e. policies of pandemic prevention and control, school leaving approvals, and teaching and performances. Shi Jun, deputy secretary of the general party branch of the Department of Directing, also provided detailed answers to the students' questions about school leaving procedures, teaching and performances etc. In the communication between teachers and students, the students expressed their claims and questions, and the teachers answered the questions and clarified the queries in a timely and effective manner, and calmed the anxiety and uneasiness of the students due to the current pandemic situation. Finally, Xia Shuai, secretary of the student party branch and student counselor of the Department of Directing, informed the students of the various activities to be jointly organized by teachers and students of the Department of Directing during the May Day holiday, and invited students to get together on cloud to celebrate the May Day holiday.
This meeting of all teachers and students of the Department of Directing on pandemic prevention and control was followed immediately by the meeting on the promotion of the work on graduation and employment for the graduating classes.
