On 12 April, our university held a special meeting on pandemic prevention to convey the spirit of the instructions of the superior authorities on pandemic prevention and control, exchange the situation of implementing prevention and control on each campus, and analyze and deploy the work of priority for pandemic prevention in the next stage. The meeting was held online and attended by university leaders and all members of the middle-management team.
During the exchange session, Hu Min, deputy party secretary of the university, Zhou Yin'e, deputy party secretary of the university and secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, Zhang Weiling, deputy party secretary and vice president of the university, Zhang Lin, secretary of the general party branch of the College of Dance, Wu Jie, principle of the Affiliated Dance School, Zhang Jun, dean of the College of Continuing education, reported the basic situation of pandemic prevention and control on the four campuses of the university and at the teaching points ion Pudong respectively. Since the middle of March, the special taskforces for pandemic prevention on all campuses have strictly implemented various prevention and control measures, actively overcome practical difficulties such as insufficient personnel and materials, standardized key links such as PCR testing and materials entering the campus etc, and handled emergencies in a timely manner, thus having ensured the overall stability of the campuses and the situation of teachers and students.
Huang Changyong, deputy party secretary and president of the university, made a speech at the meeting and put forward specific requirements for all aspects of pandemic prevention in the next stage. On behalf of the university’s party committee, Xie Wei, party secretary of the university, thanked the teachers and staff for their hard work, and analyzed and deployed the priorities of work in the next stage.
