Facing the current severe and complex pandemic situation, as a member of an art university, what should we do and should we do? In this special period, we will truly record every bit of the actions taken by the teachers, students and staff of the Shanghai Theatre Academy. Art is a kind of warmth, art is also a kind of power, art can bring strength to others, and art can also inspire ourselves. Move forward with art! The pandemic is temporary, but art will last forever.
Since March this year, a large number of medical staff, public security officers, sub-district staff and community workers in Shanghai have gone to the front line to race with the virus and fight tenaciously against the pandemic. They are also ordinary people, with many of whom having children at home waiting for their return.
In order to implement the deployment of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League on pandemic prevention and control, and unite and lead the Youth League members to participate in this major and hard battle of pandemic prevention and control, the Shanghai Theatre Academy actively participates in the work of online day care class for children of front-line personnel in pandemic prevention and control. As soon as the notice volunteer recruitment was released, there was an enthusiastic response from STA students. All of them gave full play to the advantages of their art specialties and came up with their "trump cards" one after another.
Here below is the "menu" of loving care presented by the students of STA. The online day care class formally began on 4 April. The courses offered in this class include:

If we can do anything here and now, it is to bring you the beauty of art. The students of STA meet online with the children of the personnel on the front-line of prevention and control personnel, hoping that we may bring happiness and peace of mind to the children with the power of art. When the pandemic goes away, the parents will return home, and this beauty will also continue for a long time.
