While the campus is under lockdown, the teachers and students are working together on the front line of the battle against the pandemic, overcoming all kinds of difficulties and giving each other the warm care and protection. With concerted efforts, they are contributing the strength to the stable and smooth operation of the university. Here on campus, so much love is being passed on in dynamic and static forms, expresses the persistence and feelings belonging to all members of the STA College of Film.
In this battle again the pandemic, there are all kinds of difficulties. The student volunteer service team of the College of Film of Shanghai are going all out and making a joint voice with action - "no matter how small the contribution is, it is also a kind of support". At present, there are over 100 volunteers in the student volunteer service team including class committee members and members of the youth league committee, student union and graduate student union, and all of them are members of the College of Film.
Standing on a battlefield without gunpowder smoke, they are soldiers without wearing the uniform (protective suits). Same ordinary people as you, me and him/her, they are quietly holding up the flag of responsibility. "The anti-pandemic defense line is a chain of closely connected links. Only when the student volunteers effectively fulfill their role as the link connecting between students and counselors, and each student understands and actively cooperates with the work, can we assist with the orderly progression of the university’s prevention and control work and make our own contribution to it." This is the mission and responsibility of student volunteers during the battle against the pandemic.
The student volunteers are contributing quietly without asking for any return. Every hand wave and each thank-you verbally will be the best encouragement to them. Tenderness is the power to dispel the haze. The assembly of over 100 student volunteers is the strongest youthful resonance, and it is also an action taken by the STA College of Film to make a “transitional” connection with the spirit of the times, drawing on the spirit of the 100 anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and contributing our youthful and hot blood in anticipation of the 100 anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League. Winter will undoubtedly be replaced by spring. We will live up to time and expectation, and anticipate embracing the warm spring filled with blossoming flowers.
