Facing the current severe and complex pandemic situation, as part of an art university, what should we do? How should we do?
In this special period, we will truly record every bit of the actions by teachers, students and staff of the Shanghai Theatre Academy. Art is a kind of warmth, art is also a kind of strength, art can bring power to others, and art can also inspire ourselves.
Moves forward with art! The pandemic is temporary, and art will last forever.
The College of Dance of Shanghai Theatre Academy is the first one in the entire university to face the test of the pandemic.
At present, according to the requirements of the city's pandemic prevention and control work and the unified deployment of our own university, 278 students of the College of Dance have all started online learning in the Honggu Road dormitory building.
The pandemic can't stop the dance steps of pursuing dreams, and the fence can't enclose the splendor of spring in the garden. This is the first time that the students of the College of Dance have taken online classes in the dormitory. In the limited space, their bodies and dreams are extending towards the stage.
With regard to the online classes, the teachers of the College of Dance have also made a lot of efforts to work out innovated teaching methods so as to ensure effective online learning for students.
For the sake of the major and crucial task of pandemic prevention and control, the STA College of Dance has cooperated effectively with the Dance School affiliated to STA, the leaders of the college have stood fast and remained at the front line, the teachers and students who are party members have taken the lead, and the student leaders have led the volunteers team to work efficiently. Everyone has acted upon instruction with selfless dedication and used their actions to highlight the will and determination of all members of the STA College of Dance to forge ahead as a united community and fight the pandemic with one heart.
At the same time, in order to timely respond to the concerns of students during this special period, the volunteer cabin in the Honggu Road dormitory building has also been officially opened to provide support and help to students in need.
The full schedule of volunteers every day reminds everyone to practice the STA motto of "Perfection and Excellence" and make their actions a part of this spring.
As time slows down, the volunteers are still busy in the "slow", and the volunteer cabin is the place that makes people feel the true sentiments in the "slow". In this volunteer cabin, students can not only express their concerns, but also get warm care and strong support, and volunteers also improve themselves through helping the others.
