After the selection process of screening, preliminary review and reexamination, the results of the "Best Young Scholar of Philosophy and Social Sciences in Shanghai 2020-2021" selection campaign were announced recently. 14 talented young scholars stood out from 180 candidates. Professor Zhi Yunbo of the Shanghai Theatre Academy was successfully selected as one of them. This is the first time that a teacher of the Shanghai Theatre Academy has won the title of "Best Young Scholar of Philosophy and Social Sciences in Shanghai". At the Shanghai Theatre Academy, Professor Zhi Yunbo is currently the deputy director of the Scientific Research Department and concurrently the deputy director of the Discipline Construction Office, and he is also the professor and doctoral supervisor of the Art Research Institute. The other 13 winners of the title are from Fudan University, Shanghai Institute for International Studies, Shanghai Jiaotong University, East China University of Political Science and Law, East China Normal University, Shanghai University and Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences.
In order to speed up the cultivation of top-notch young scholars in the field of philosophy and social sciences in Shanghai, under the guidance of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Shanghai Oriental Youth Society has organized and carried out the "Best Young Scholar of Philosophy and Social Sciences in Shanghai” selection campaign since 2010. So far, it has carried out 10 annual selections with a total of 84 winners of the title.
