On the morning of 2 March, Xie Wei, Party Secretary of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), and Huang Changyong, President of STA, went to the Personnel Department to carry out a special research on talent work. The meeting was chaired by Yang Yang, Vice President of STA, and attended by Xu Yong, director of the Party Committee’s Office and the President’s Office, and other relevant staff.
First of all, Xu Yi, deputy director of the Personnel Department, gave a comprehensive introduction to the personnel and work situation of the Department. Other relevant staff reported on the workprogress of the talent acquisition and storage project, the "PT" program, the lodgement of applicationswith various high-level talent projects and the teachers training plan etc. Huang Jingfeng, deputy director of the Personnel Department (on secondment), talked about the ideas and suggestions on the cultivation of young and middle-aged backbone teachers.
The participants discussed the work of talent introduction and cultivation in STA. Vice President Yang Yang, President Huang Changyong and Party Secretary Xie Wei spoke at the meeting successively. This year, STA will hold a university-wide talent conference, and will effectively transform the spirit of the conference into the ideasfor planning the work, the driving force for enhancing the work, the initiativesfordoing the work creatively and the strategies for solving problems and breaking the situation.
