On the morning of 28 February, all leaders of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) went deep into the front line of classroom teaching for an inspection tour of classes in the four campuses at the beginning of the new semester. Accompanied by personnel from the academic affairs office and relevant colleges and departments, they comprehensively inspected the classroom teaching status of front-line teachers, students' learning status at classes, teaching environment, pandemic prevention and control, so as to ensure the smooth and orderly progress of undergraduate teaching in the new semester.
As observed during the inspection tour of classes, the classroom teaching on the first day of the new semester was in good order, teachers and students showed a good spirit and full enthusiasm for work and learning, the assurance of support from teaching management personnel and relevant functional offices were in place, and all aspects of teaching operated well. In the context of the normalization of pandemic prevention and control, all colleges and departments paid close attention to the situation of pandemic prevention and control, prepared online and offline undergraduate teaching plans in advance, prepared "one person one plan" for students who were delayed from returning to school due to the pandemic, and carried out all teaching activities in an orderly manner.
In recent years, the leaders of STA have maintained the practice of going deep into the front line of classroom teaching on the first day of the new semester to carry out the inspection tour of classes, which has played an important and driving role in strengthening the construction of learning and teaching style on campus, promoting the improvement of teaching quality and implementing the fundamental task of building moral values and cultivating people. In the future teaching management work, STA will continue to strengthen teaching management, strive to create a good atmosphere in which the whole university cares about teaching, attaches great importance to teaching and strictly enforce teaching management, constantly improve teaching quality and teaching level, and make unremitting efforts to cultivate excellent art talents.
