On 30 January 2022, Yang Yang, Vice President of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), hosted a banquet on behalf of STA for foreign experts and teachers who remained in Shanghai during the winter vacation to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year together with them. Vice President Yang expressed his deep gratitude to the foreign experts and teachers for overcoming different kinds of inconveniences and continuing to teach the students at STA. He thanked all the experts and teachers for their efforts in teaching at the Shanghai Theatre Academy. He also hoped that the pandemic would end as soon as possible, so that the communication among all could be smoother. On behalf of STA, Vice President Yang wished all foreign experts and teachers a happy Chinese New Year and a happy family in advance. Foreign experts and teachers attending the banquet included Tobias Biancone, Director-General of the International Theatre Institute, Susana Nikolic at the Department of Acting, Cai Yilei at the College of Dance, David Fang at the College of Creative Studies, and Li Minyuan at the Department of Dramatic Literature.
