Prior to the winter vacation, the middle management of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) at the end of the fall semester was held in the Huashan Road Campus on 14 January. Leaders of STA and the entire middle management team attended the meeting. Huang Changyong, deputy party secretary and president of STA, presided over the meeting.
The main agenda of this meeting was for relevant functional departments to exchange and discuss around "building a system of disciplines and majors that conforms to the trend, a system of decision-making and operation that is standardized and highly efficient, and a system of ideological and political work that is distinctive".
Xie Wei, party secretary of STA, made a concluding speech. He summarized STA’s achievements in 2021 in carrying out the study and education of party history, in education and teaching reform, in discipline construction and development, and in serving the city’s construction of soft power. He made the deployment of the work during the winter vacation which was to, first, earnestly fulfill the responsibility of COVID-19 prevention and control; second, make every effort to ensure the smooth progress of student recruitment; third, promote the renovation project of Huashan Road Campus according to the plan; four, consolidate the campus safety responsibility with all departments fulfilling their responsibilities to ensure that all teachers and students have a safe and peaceful Spring Festival holiday and winter vacation.
