At noon on 7 January, Huang Changyong, president of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), led a team to the Department of Drama and Literature for research, and held a roundtable meeting. The team included Liu Qing, vice president of STA, Lu Jun, chairman of the Academic Committee, Chen Yun, director of the organization department and director of the personnel office, Wu Aili, director of the Development Planning Office, Shen Liang, director of the Academic Affairs and dean of the Graduate School, Zhi Yunbo, deputy director of the Research Office, and Xu Yi, deputy director of the Personnel Office etc. Chen Jun, dean of the Department of Dramatic Literature, presided over the meeting, and members of the Party and administrative leading groups and all teachers of the Department of Dramatic Literature attended the meeting.
Chen Jun reported the administrative work of the Department of Dramatic Literature from 2019 to 2021 to the leaders of STA and heads of the functional offices/departments from the aspects of teaching, research, artistic creation, human resources and systems, and analyzed the existing problems. Chen Jun also made a summarized report on the work of human resources and systems in the Department of Dramatic Literature.
The leaders of STA and heads of the functional offices/departments listened to the opinions and suggestions of teacher representatives of the Department of Dramatic Literature. The heads of the relevant functional offices/departments also provided valuable opinions and suggestions for the development of the Department of Dramatic Literature, saying that they would give more practical help and support from the aspects of office space, teaching facilities, admission policies, teaching reform, student management and research etc. President Huang Changyong made a concluding speech.
